MASON CITY – A Mason City woman faces a drunk driving charge after a report of a car in a ditch.
Police received reports of a vehicle in the ditch on the evening of March 7, 2018. Officers arrived at the 3900 block of 4th Street SE to investigate at about 10:11 PM. As a result, 57-year-old Mona Kay Hoy of Mason City was arrested on a charge of first-offense operating while intoxicated.
Hoy was jailed and soon released. A preliminary court appearance was waived by a judge.
