DES MOINES – Iowa authorities fear a suspect who they say sexually abused a child for years has absconded and are pleading for assistance from the public.
Investigators in Iowa are requesting the community’s assistance with locating a person accused of sex crimes against a child. 45-yr-old Jermaine Tyrone Patton (pictured at top via Des Moines police) has active felony warrants for Sexual Abuse of a child. Evidence in this case indicates that Patton sexually abused the victim several times over more than a decade.
Attempts to locate Patton have been unsuccessful and it is believed that he has left the state, possibly for Arizona, but could be hiding out anywhere, maybe a small town in Iowa overlooked by law enforcement.
Anyone with any information as to Patton’s location is asked to call their local police.
