MASON CITY – A Charles City man who was sent to Beje Clark for reformation earlier this year on drug charges somehow got out and quickly proved he may not be a changed man when cops caught him with meth and a stun gun.
Dalton Betsigner, age 24 of Charles City, was stopped by the Iowa State Patrol and arrested while traveling on Highway 65 in Cerro Gordo county late on December 31, 2017. As a result of an investigation by the Iowa State Patrol, a dangerous weapon (stun gun) and deliverable illegal drugs (methamphetamine and marijuana) were discovered inside his vehicle. Betsinger was taken to the Cerro Gordo county jail on felony charges of possession of illegal substances with intent to deliver, possession of a dangerous weapon and possession of drug paraphernalia. He remains in jail on $100,000 bond. He’ll face a hearing on January 10.
Records show Betsinger was accusedd in Chickasaw county in 2016 with a felony drug charge. After he was mercifully put on probation only, he proceeded to violate that probation. As a result, he was sent in May of 2017 to Mason City to be housed in the Beje Clark criminal repository for up to one year.

Nobody knows his story! Nobody knows exactly what happened that night and from sounds of it neither does this article because it’s false!
FYI – He has never been at Beje Clark. West Union residential facility.
Someone has to want to be clean and sober. You can’t make someone want it either. However NA and AA members will share their stories. Both while using and after quiting. You will find support and friendship at meetings.
Bodacious “William” will reform him!
