NIACC soccer team falls to Iowa Lakes

MASON CITY – The NIACC men’s soccer team wrapped up the regular season with a 4-1 loss to No. 18 Iowa Lakes Saturday at the NIACC pitch.

Iowa Lakes (13-4 overall, 12-4 in the ICCAC) led 1-0 at the half and added three second half goals.

NIACC (8-10, 6-10) received a goal from sophomore Dion Dozzell with 11:17 remaining in the second half on an assist from sophomore Khaliyl Hanson.
NIACC faces Iowa Lakes in the opening round of the NJCAA Region XI tournament on Wednesday. Match time is set for 3 p.m. in Spencer.
