ACKLEY, IOWA – Search warrants executed on the town of Ackley, Iowa resulted in a number of arrest warrants after the discovery of illegal drugs.
On the evening of August 16, 2016, Ackley Police Chief Brian Shimon, Ackley Police, and Ackley K-9 Lexer were assisted by Hardin County Sheriff Dave McDaniel and Hardin County Deputies in the simultaneous execution of multiple search warrants in Ackley Iowa.
Quantities of Methamphetamine and Marijuana, drug paraphernalia – including several pipes, a bong, grinders, an electronic scale, empty plastic bags, a butane torch – three bottles of prescription drugs, and $201.00 in cash were seized and placed into evidence.
Arrest Warrant Applications have been filed on the following individuals as a result of the searches:
Paul Edward Berg 10-23-1967 of 411 Lincoln Avenue in Ackley IA was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine (a Serious Misdemeanor) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (a Simple Misdemeanor).
Shawn Michael Healey 01-20-1977 of 112 13th Street in Ackley IA was charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine (a Class C Felony), Possession with Intent to Deliver Marijuana (a Class D Felony). Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (a Simple Misdemeanor) and Unlawful Possession of Prescription Drugs (a Serious Misdemeanor).
Diane Ranee Cummings 11-01-1972 of 112 13t’ Street in Ackley IA was charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine (a Class C Felony), Possession with Intent to Deliver Marijuana (a Class D Felony), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (a Simple Misdemeanor) and Unlawful Possession of Prescription Drugs (a Serious Misdemeanor).
