CONCORD, NEW HAMPSHIRE – Ron DeSantis’ campaign slogan was “never back down” but that is exactly what he did late Sunday as he quit his campaign for President and instantly got on his knees to beg Donald Trump for acceptance.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis spent tens-of-millions of dollars in an all-or-nothing bid to win the Iowa Caucus. For all his time and effort, his campaign could only muster just north of 23,000 votes statewide, finishing a dismal second to Donald Trump last week. He won exactly zero Iowa counties in the vote. The writing was on the wall heading into Tuesday’s New Hampshire election that his campaign was completely doomed. So, he backed down, just as he promised never to do. He quit. Then, he endorsed Donald Trump. Anyone who thought DeSantis had a shot should possibly examine their decision-making abilities. Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds, no stranger to bad judgement, gave her endorsement, and ever since she has been mercilessly ridiculed. Setting a trend, she, also, went to Trump and begged for acceptance.
Nikki Haley may be next in line hoping the Donald forgives her transgressions. They are piling up as she slings nasty barbs at our former, defeated President, attacking his countless lies and clear signs of undiagnosed dementia. For now, she is sticking it out and hoping for a strong showing Tuesday, and the chance to get to her home state of South Carolina.
According to the DeSantis campaign:
Ron DeSantis continues to do for Republicans across America what he has done for everyone in Florida – keep his promises.
Governor DeSantis kept every promise he made to Florida voters, and as THE conservative candidate for President, he promised to support the #GOP nominee.
Promises made, promises kept. That’s

From here, DeSantis must limp back to Florida, where he can continue boxing Disney over their woke programs, banning books, and accepting federal help after the next hurricane.

He is just like the rest of the Republicans. They hate trump and want him to disappear but they need his cult to win elections. DeSantis is another Ted Cruz.
