MASON CITY – The public is invited to a fundraiser for Vietnam vets later this month in Mason City.
Vietnam veterans will host the event, dubbed “Hot Off the Grill” fundraiser breakfast on Sunday, July 24.
Everyone is invited to this outdoor breakfast, serving pancakes, eggs and ham hot off the grill, at Mason City North Iowa Events Center, on Sunday, July 24th. Food will be served 7:00 AM till noon.
Close-in parking will be located at the fair’s Loafing Shed Shelter.
The fundraiser is hosted by local Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 790.
Free will donations appreciated for veterans emergency assistance fund. Various military and gift items will be available.
There will be an early morning hot air balloon rally at the fairgrounds that day, too.
