MASON CITY – A woman with previous violent crime arrests was taken to jail Sunday morning after police investigated a domestic assault.
Mason City police were called to 1012 North Polk at 10:38 AM Sunday after a report of a domestic assault at that address. Upon arrival, police investigated the incident and arrested 23-year-old Elizabeth Ann Howard, who lives there.
Howard was taken to jail on a charge of serious domestic assault. She remained jailed Monday on no bond as she awaited a judge.
Howard was arrested in 2010 by Mason City police for assault with the use of a weapon, and later pled guilty to assault. She still owes the courts money in that case. She has also previously been charged with harassment, interference with official acts, criminal mischief, and theft.

Uhhhh and previously arrested for a sex crime and now labeled as a sex offender.
Uhhhhhhh…. she was only 18 and victim was 14-17 so I don’t think it was a major sex crime. She has no restrictions. My guess is her boyfriend was under ager and his parents got pist and pressed chrgs.. Not trying to defend her but you can get on the registry for peeing in the bushes. They need to revise the list so we know who the REAL sex pedophiles are.

You must have missed the incest charges that were part of the case. Unless you think incest should be revised.
I don’t care how you justify it. “Children” are not mature enough to understand the emotional and physical consequences of sex, which is why there is an age limit an adult can participate with. If she needs to take advantage of someone deemed not able to make these decisions to get laid, she is considered a predator.
She makes poor decisions in life and is a registered sex offender, and now has multiple charges of domestic violence on record. DHS was called, and now she’s ruining that poor child’s life.
