Officers arrived in the area moments later and located an adult male suffering from apparent gun shot wounds. Officers performed CPR and rendered aid until the ambulance arrived. The victim was transported to North Memorial Medical Center via ambulance where he was pronounced dead.
Officers and homicide investigators canvassed the area and are following up on leads it generated. No one is in custody at this time.
The Medical Examiner will release the identity of the victim as well as the nature and cause of death.
