RURAL CERRO GORDO COUNTY – A man was cited for failure to maintain control o this car after it rolled into a field and caused injuries to himself and two others.
The Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Office said Tuesday night that deputies responded to a rolled over vehicle at about 9:05 PM at 230th Street and Mallard Avenue. At the scene, a 2003 Ford Mustang belonging to 20-year-old Dylan Blake Prescott of Kleme was found on its roof in a field. It had rolled over one time before coming to a stop. Prescott was injured and received treatment from Mason City fire medics at the scene. Also injured was Prescott’s girlfriend, 18-year-old Brooke Nicole Starbuck of Mason City; she, too, was treated at the scene. Taken by ambulance to Mercy Medical Center was 16-year-old Nathaneal Joel Clark of Mason City with unspecified injuries.
Prescott, who was driving, was cited for failure to maintain control.
