IOWA FALLS – A Mason city man was arrested in Iowa Falls for drunk driving.
John Haan, age 32, was stopped in the early morning of February 7 by Iowa Falls police when officers noticed he had a defective muffler on his vehicle. During the traffic stop, Haan could produce no proof of insurance. Hasan was arrested on a charge of first offense operating while intoxicated and released later that day.
Haan has been ordered to undergo a substance abuse evaluation. He has pleaded not guilty and will face a May 7 trial.
