WATERLOO – Three people were stabbed at a Waterloo residence, and one of the persons injured was arrested and charged with several felonies.
Waterloo police reported that on February 13, 2015 at approximately 7:44 PM, the officers were dispatched to 1414-5 Shamrock Drive on a report of a stabbing that had just occurred. On arrival to this location, it was found that three subjects had sustained stab wounds and/or lacerations during an altercation there. All three subjects were transported to local hospitals for treatment.
As a result of the ensuing investigation, 27-year-old Tony Hicks, who lived at the address of the altercation, was taken into custody after being treated at a local hospital for injuries that he sustained during this incident. Hicks was charged with felony burglary 1st degree, two counts of felony willful injury, going armed with intent, and carrying weapons.
The two victims in this incident are currently being treated at a local hospital. The extent of their injuries is not known.
