Iowa politicians pander to the farmers. The Republicans are just hypocritical about it, as they are many things. It’s all about small government until it comes to bailing out farmers.
Why are we responsible for the next flu outbreak? Why is our taxpayer money being spent to protect the chicken farmer? They raised the price of eggs so they wouldn’t lose money and continue to gouge the public while using our money to guarantee their income. Bull Crap. This needs to stop.

@Reality-You just have to ask if a manufacturing plant was going out of business because all the employees had the flu and they couldn’t make shipments would the Feds come in with money to save it or would they let it go under?
