MASON CITY – A meth dealer living in Mason City by way of Texas stands accused for a second time of violating the probation she was given in connection to a felony meth case.
Janie Quinones, age 33 and formerly of Garland, Texas but now living in Mason City, received a deferred judgment on December 13, 2013 for felony C distribution of methamphetamine. Quinones was placed on three years probation and ordered to pay $2,007.86 in court costs.
Quinones was found guilty in October of 2014 for violating the probation in the drug dealing case. A judge took her driver’s license for 180 days, gave her a 10 year suspended prison sentence and a $1,000 suspended fine.
In November, Quinones was again accused of violating her probation, and a warrant was issued for her arrest. She is awaiting a court date in the case.
SUBJECT IS INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY
How many chances do these milksop judges gives these criminals? She isn’t going to change because there is no penalty for breaking the law.
