MASON CITY – There are three chances remaining to support the Hawkeye Harvest Food Bank at Mohawk athletic events.
The Mason City High Scool Fall Athletic Teams, Marching Band, and Student Senate are working together on the food drive project to benefit the food bank.
Students and volunteers will be collecting food and monetary donations Friday and Saturday to be donated to Hawkeye Harvest Food Bank and Backpack Buddies, a program to feed hungry kids.
The following events are locations where food can be brought for donation:
Friday, September 6th 4:45 pm (10th)/7:30 (Varsity)
Football vs. Waverly-Shell Rock (Mohawk Stadium)
“Bust the Bus”
Friday, September 6th 9:00 pm
Red and Black Dance (School Parking Lot)
“Can, Can Dance”
Saturday, September 7th 8:00 am – 12:00 pm
Pack the Pickups (Hy-Vee East, Hy-Vee West, Fareway)
