MASON CITY – The local Mason City Chapter of the Harley Owner’s Group (HOG) is putting together a “Celebrate-Support” ride on July 19th.
HOG is a not-for-profit group.
Kyle Easley, Director of MC HOG Chapter #1421, said the ride serves two purposes.
“We have a couple members who are currently fighting cancer, so it’s an event to show support for them while also donating needed supplies and supporting various local charities that are important to those members,” Mr. Easley said.
Riders will make stops at Patriots for Pets, Caring Pregnancy Center, Crisis Intervention Services, and Four Oaks School to deliver supplies. There is a donation list at Mason City Harley Davidson, located at 706 South Federal Avenue. Anyone interested in riding can pre-register for the ride on the morning of July 19th at 8:00 AM to 8:30 AM.
After the ride, from noon to 4:00 PM, riders will go back to Harley for a food and a family fun day.

MC police lick their lips and see dollars signs and drug busts.
Only if you and SUCKS are in town.
Are you kidding? Harley’s are untouchable in this area, especially when it’s an official Harley Davidson sanctioned event. Now’s the time when they COULD get away with drugs if they wanted. It’s like riding around under the protective umbrella of Ron Minert on a rainy day; good as dry.
