NIT – The days are about to get longer again, a much-needed clue that this long, arduous winter is drawing to a close.
On Sunday, March 9, daylight savings begins at 2 AM, and you should set your clocks ahead an hour. Some of us let satellites control our cell phones and computers, so those of us that do that won’t have to worry about it.
On Sunday, November 2, Daylight Saving Time will end at 2 AM and clocks will have to go back an hour.
Daylight Saving Time was put into law first in 1918 with the Standard Time Act and then again in 1966 with the the Uniform Time Act. Arizona, Hawaii and Indiana do not recognize Daylight Saving Time.
Some say it is time to do away with Daylight Saving Time. What do you think?
