FOREST CITY – Winnebago Industries, Inc., a leading United States manufacturer of recreation vehicles, announced the promotion of Jay Swearingen to the position of motorhome training manager.
In his new position, Swearingen will conduct all motorhome product training activities including, planning and implementation of regional training seminars and the development of product training materials for district sales managers and dealer sales personnel.
Swearingen began his Winnebago career in 1998 with the Company’s Customer Service facility, and is an RVIA-RVDA certified technician. As a 16-year veteran of Winnebago, he has served in a variety of product and customer related positions, including owner relations and most recently lead person at Customer Service. Prior to joining Winnebago in 1998, he was self-employed at a family-owned business.
Swearingen is a native of Thompson, Iowa and continues to reside in the community with his wife and family.
