DES MOINES – Members of the Family Alliance for Veterans of America (FAVA), based in Forest City, visited with legislators at the Iowa Statehouse on Tuesday, February 25th.
FAVA works to educate communities on the difficulties that veterans may face reintegrating to civilian life, speaks with military families about loved ones returning from war, and trains service dogs for veterans.
