Wanted man in connection with alleged rape turns himself in

MASON CITY – A man sought by police in connection with an alleged rape has turned himself in at the Cerro Gordo County Jail.

Teven Isaac Corley, age 22, arrived in Mason City Friday on a bus from out of state. He was wanted on a warrant for felony sexual assault in the third degree. The incident allegedly took place in Mason City on May 8, 2013.

Corley is being held in the Cerro Gordo County Jail on $10,000 cash/surety bond as he awaits an unknown court date.

Another man, Tommie Dean Laster, was arrested several days ago on a warrant for a felony charge of 3rd degree sexual abuse and was taken to the Cerro Gordo County Jail where he is being held on $20,000 cash bond. He has a court hearing set for Friday morning.
