MASON CITY – The Cerro Gordo County Department of Public Health has received an additional supply of FluMist and infant flu doses.
“We’ve received several calls from parents seeking flu vaccine for their child(ren) now that influenza is in our area,” explains Karen Crimmings, Disease Prevention and Investigation Service Manager, Cerro Gordo County Department of Public Health. “We decided to purchase additional flu vaccine doses to ensure people still have the opportunity to be vaccinated if they haven’t already.”
The Immunization Clinic is located at 22 North Georgia Avenue and is open Monday – Friday from 10:00 AM to Noon and 12:30 to 4:00 PM. No appointment necessary.
