DES MOINES – Sarah Palin was back in Iowa Sunday, attended the Iowa Faith and Freedom Coalition’s annual fall dinner in Des Moines.
According to theiowarepublican.com, Palin spoke to about 800 people and gave “an unyielding defense of the Tea Party” while she “skewered Republican officials who shy away from the Tea Party.”
Palin – a former Vice Presidential candidate – ripped President Obama, telling the crowd that “the era of Obama is coming to an end.
Other speakers included Congressman Tom Latham, Congressman Steve King, and Governor Terry Branstad.

Every Democrat in the country is praying Sarah Palin gets as much TV time, print space, and radio interviews as possible. For every person nodding in agreement with here, there are two or three recoiling in disagreement. It is unbelievable to me that Republicans haven’t figured this out. Back a fiscally conservative moderate who is kind of socially liberal (like John Huntsman) and you’d take the White House four terms in a row.
But my all means. Throw Sarah Palin out there. Democrats will run “NOT Sarah Palin” and win every time. It won’t even be close.

It’s unbelievable to me that anyone could vote a hockey mom like Palin to that high of office. Yet Iowans prove me wrong again. No brainers want one of their own in office.

I am not aware of any religious faction within the Tea Party.
However, since God has been kicked out of our everyday lives, respect for all life is at an all time low. Picking up a gun and killing a bunch of people wasn’t happening 50 years ago like it is today. I think there is a connection!
Abortion is also part of the Socialist movement.
We have put tens of millions of our nations workforce in the garbage can over the last 50 years due to abortion. The Left/Moderates/RINO’s/and Progressives have passed laws to aid that slaughter. That alone has wreaked havoc on our nations economy.
Laws have been passed by the Left/Moderates/RINO’s/Progressives that has destroyed the family farm, convinced women they belong in the workplace, and turned a blind eye on illegal Mexicans to replace a badly needed workforce. That too has been destructive on the American culture.
The Tea Party nor conservatives have never wanted to take away anything from you or I that we have paid into and referred to that as an entitlement that we don’t have coming. The entitlements they do oppose (and I do too) are the ones that are created to strictly buy votes for the Socialist/Democrats. That list is large and hurts all working people.
In my life I have voted for Democrats and Republicans. I was always Union. One thing sticks out very clear:
Every time a Democrat was elected my take home pay became less and my taxes went up. Every time a Republican was elected my take home pay went up and my taxes went down.
America is broke. With the exception of the Tea Party delegation the rest keep voting to take away your benefits, run up the deficit, take away money you have paid in and give it to knuckledraggers, and want to tax you more!
Me, I’m sticking with the Tea Party and fighting for my money, rights, and freedom.
I have to Part Company with these comments. After 40 years of reading and studying the actions of political leaders I could not disagree more.
The word Progressive is a Socialist movement and comes out of Karl Marx Communist Manifesto.
Progressives, The Left/Liberals, and Moderates are all the same. All back Karl Marx and his goals either willingly or through ignorance. Either way they have done great harm to the American way of life.
They have one goal of replacing capitalism and self-reliance with Socialism and Dependency on Government. The Left, Middle, and Moderates have all followed and voted for Socialist laws. These three groups have been working together for decades.
The Tea Party supports Self-Reliance and Capitalism. I don’t see that as a radical notion at all.
Following the Main-Stream Media, they would have you believe the Tea Party has goals that somehow are contrary with the Constitution. That could not be farther from the truth! When I read the Tea Party’s desire to return America to full employment, balanced budgets, and Constitutional Government I can’t find fault with that.
The Tea Party has been much maligned by the Moderates/Progressive/Left Wing media in this country.
If a majority in this country don’t start supporting a return to Capitalism we are all doomed to become a second rate nation. We are well on our way to it now.

@watchdog-I am listening and I hear you. I agree with you about the progessives and the liberals. However, when I talk about right wing I am referring to the religion part of the right wingers. They continue to harp about gay rights, abortion, what they refer to as entitlements (I call it payment of what I paid in and continue to pay in) and all the other social issues that have cost them election after election. They just can’t get it through their heads that they are now the minority and it has cost them dearly. I think Obama is the worst president we have ever had and what he has done to the constitution is certainly grounds for impeachment. But, if the Republicans do not wake up and change their way of thinking they will become obsolete. You can not threaten to take food and income away from people and expect them to vote for you. @Maybe-read my answer to Watchdog. To put it very simply, the Republicans and the Tea Party are beating a dead horse and if they don’t get off that they are going to become obsolete. You can not threaten people with taking away food and income and expect them to vote for you. And, unfortunately, there are more people on food stamps, title 19, welfare and social security than there are tea party folks. Get off the abortion and the anti gay rights kick. Clean up the fraud (especially in the I.R.S.) you could save a trillion dollars right there. Just think of what that would do for the V.A. and social security. Quit going after peoples living and go after the waste. Crack down on disability fraud, another trillion dollars. Take away lifetime pensions and insurance from congress (another trillion dollars). Stop Obama’s vacations (another trillion dollars) There is no shortage of money. There is just gross mismanagement by our government. How much has been wasted on Obamacare? The Democrats are just as guilty as the Republicans.
