MASON CITY – A man who suffocated his son last year has received a lengthy prison sentence.
On October 27th, 2012, Mason City police officers investigated an incident involving an unresponsive male child that later died. The father of the child was later revealed to be Kenneth Adams and he was subsequently arrested and charged with felony B child endangerment resulting in death.
A jury this past September convicted Adams, age 30, who was sentenced on Friday, November 8th to 50 years in prison.
