MASON CITY – A Mason City man stands accused of snatching a purse and was put in jail.
According to police, at about 10:57 AM, an employee reported her purse was stolen from the Willow Inn Motel. Kenny Ray Griffin, age 48, was in the area when the theft occurred and was found in possession of some of the contents from the purse. He was charged with 5th degree possession of stolen property and jailed.
There was no immediate information on a court date or details of his release from jail.
