The award was presented by Janice Easley, one of the organization’s leaders, at her birthday party at East Park. Ed Wineinger‘s architectural firm, Waggoner & Wineinger Architects, has donated all the architectural design services for the project, totaling approximately $20,000.00.

The initial phase of the construction project was completed in the Summer of 2010. Currently, the second phase of the construction project is being undertaken. The second phase involves the restoration of the exterior to its original design, including: proscenium, shell, siding walls, doors, roofing, and lighting. Future work involves the replacement of the stage thrust, interior restoration, and landscaping.
