DES MOINES – The Associated Press reported Tuesday that a division of the Iowa Department of Human Rights over-billed a state agency by about $25,000.

A fee of $40,000 was charged to the juvenile justice planning division to update a criminal history record database maintained by the Department of Public Safety. The actual bill should have been for $14,900.

According to the Associated Press, an state audit released Tuesday found poor record keeping and billing not supported by time sheets.

      1. No– FUBAR is exactly what I meant. It means,

      2. My personal all time favorite is BOHICA. Feel free to use it as you deem necessary. Bend Over Here It Comes Again. Have a great day!

  1. Careful. Lots of dismissed human rights cases in dm from this agency, now it is over-billing. Sounds sloppy.
