This funding is an important step toward aiding Veteran families and to ending the problem of homeless veterans.”
Details of the grants are as follows:
Family Alliance for Veterans of America: $697,698 to serve approximately 150 participant households in Butler, Cerro Gordo, Emmet, Floyd, Franklin, Hancock, Humboldt, Kossuth, Mitchell, Palo Alto, Pocahontas, Worth, Winnebago, and Wright counties.
Hawkeye Area Community Action Program, Inc.: $717,986 to serve approximately 252 participant households in Benton, Iowa, Linn, Johnson, and Jones counties.
Primary Health Care, Inc.: $506,900 to serve approximately 200 participant households in Marshall and Polk counties.
