CHICAGO, March 4 (UPI) — Grains were mixed on the Chicago Board of Trade Monday with soybeans posting gains and corn and wheat futures dropping lower.
Corn was off 1 1/4 to off 6 1/4; soybeans were up 14 1/4 to up 25 3/4; wheat was off 17 1/4 to off 18 and oats were off 2 1/4 to up 4 1/2.
Corn and wheat prices slipped with conditions improving in the central and southern plains. Soybeans closed higher led by March contracts that are currently in delivery.

Corn: Mar 7.24 1/4 off 1 1/4; May 7.08 1/2 off 5 1/4; Jly 6.87 off 5 1/4; Sep 5.84 1/4 off 6 1 1/4.
Soybeans: Mar 14.90 1/4 up 25 3/4; May 14.62 up 18 1/2; Jly 14.43 1/4 up 16; Aug 14.02 1/4 up 14 1/4.
Wheat: Mar 6.96 off 17 1/4; May 7.02 1/2 off 18; Jly 7.04 1/2 off 17 3/4; Sep 7.12 off 17 3/4.
Oats: Mar 4.03 1/2 up 1; May 3.84 1/4 up 4 1/2; Jly 3.72 1/2 up 1/4; Sep 3.67 off 2 1/4.
