(DES MOINES) – Today, Gov. Branstad appointed James A. McGlynn as judge to the 2B Judicial District.
McGlynn, of Webster City, received his law degree from Creighton University and is currently serving as Associate Juvenile Court Judge in the Second Judicial District. McGlynn was appointed to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Swanson.
The counties in the Second District are Boone, Bremer, Butler, Calhoun, Carroll, Cerro Gordo, Floyd, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hancock, Hardin, Humboldt, Marshall, Mitchell, Pocahontas, Sac, Story, Webster, Winnebago, Worth, and Wright.
