CLEAR LAKE – Emergency Units were dispatched to a serious two vehicle accident involving a motorcycle, at 5:47 PM Thursday. The accident occurred at 10536 265th Street, between Mason City and Clear Lake.
Mason City Fire Department, Clear Lake Fire Department, Iowa State Patrol, Cerro Gordo County Sheriff and Clear Lake Police Department were all at the scene.
Although the motorcycle was tore-up, an Iowa State Patrol officer told a bystander that “I don’t believe it was that serious, he had a cut along the ear.”
The driver of the white SUV was from Hancock County.
While the investigation was going on, a black Bronco went speeding by. It screeched its tires to slow down, then accelerated again. A Cerro Gordo County Deputy pulled the truck over.
No other information was available at the time.
