MASON CITY – Around 11:30 am, Sunday, the Mason City Police Department reported graffiti on one of the Globe Gazette walls.
The west wall that faces the alley did have graffiti on it. Black squiggly lines and a couple symbols that resembled or were similar to music notes. There was also some green paint on the wood that borders and protects the building.
It is not known if it was done the same time as the black paint.
It was said that other targets were hit. More information as it becomes available.
I thought the globe just reported crime was down in our city.
I don’t know what you think a drawing of the male apparatus should look like. The drawing on the wall of the Globe Gazette would sure not look like anything I have.

The “nice” looking graffiti goes along with Mason City’s growing ghetto image. Although the graffiti here is a bit ruff.
