NORTHWOOD – The Northwood-Kensett Board of Directors met on Thursday, February 16, 2012 at 7:00 P.M. at the Elementary School Media Center and conducted the following business:

Reviewed Bids and Discussion of Football & Track Stadium Renovation Project at Northwood-Kensett High School.
Awarded the contract for Football & Track Stadium Renovation Project at Northwood-Kensett High School to Larson Contracting. Tom Nugent, School Supertindent, told NorthIowaToday.com that the project will cost $776,735 and construction will start on April 1st. Work should be complete around August 6, 2012. The project includes a new track surface, reseeding the football field, new bleachers, press box, ticket booth entry and recognition area.
