January 13, 2000 – April 21, 2026

Cedric Allen Weber, 26, of Center Ossipee, New Hampshire, died April 21, 2026, due to injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. Cedric enjoyed time in solitude and deep thought, hiking outdoors, and exploring local geology. He enjoyed having analytical conversations with family and friends around movies, video games, YouTube documentaries, history podcasts, theology, the Bible, and literary works like Lord of the Rings and other Fantasy genres. Due to Cedric’s color blindness and daily challenges, his world looked and often felt grey, except for splashes of yellow, his favorite color. He would point it out along the trail or within the flickering flames of campfires and candles.

He was born January 13, 2000, in Manhattan, Kansas, to Wade and Caryn (Rice) Weber. He attended Kindergarten thru 4th grade in Manhattan, KS and 5th thru 11th grade in Spirit Lake, Iowa. After a family job relocation, he spent his senior year at Manhattan-Ogden High School (KS) and graduated in May 2018. He was active in Kansas and Iowa 4-H programs (Lego League Robotics and showing chickens were his favorite 4-H activities). He sang in school choirs and tinkered in automotive classes. He completed his welding certification from Manhattan Area Technical College in May 2021 and began his career as a welder and CNC machinist in Marysville, KS. In 2024, he relocated to Center Ossipee, NH to be closer to family. He worked two winter seasons on the tubing hill at King Pine Ski Area in Madison, NH. He attended First Congregational Church of Ossipee, participated in the Young Adults ministry, and was baptized on November 23, 2025.

While Cedric faced the unique complexities of bipolar disorder, depression, and various neurodivergent challenges, these conditions never defined the essence of who he was. He navigated a world not always built for him with a quiet strength, perseverance, and a spirit that remained entirely his own. His journey was supported by the dedicated teams at Northern Human Services, NH Vocational Rehabilitation, and North Conway’s Memorial Hospital, whose efforts allowed him to navigate life’s hurdles with dignity.

Cedric is survived by his parents Wade & Caryn Weber of Center Ossipee, NH; his brothers Josiah of Center Ossipee, NH; Lawton of Garden City, KS; Mason & James (Walton) Weber of Manhattan, KS. He leaves his maternal grandparents, Harlan & Marlene Rice, of Rockwell, IA; and his paternal grandparents, Dean & Bonita Weber of Rockwell, IA. He is survived by maternal aunts, uncles and cousins including Cindy (Rice) & Ellis Burge and children Payson & Jaidyn of Mount Vernon, IA; Shara (Rice) & Mike O’Connell and children Aryia & Dylan of Mason City, IA; and paternal aunts, uncles and cousins including Wendy (Weber) & Greg Johnson and children Garett, Wyatt, and Maizee of Byron, Minnesota; Micah & Renae Weber and children Kahle, Bodee, and Cullen of Rock Valley, IA; Mandy (Weber) & Ben Gramkow and children Ellie and Beckett of Olathe, KS. Cedric was proceeded in death by his paternal cousin Caleb Gramkow.
