Harrison Tyler “Harry” Wentzien, 36, of Gladbrook, passed away Monday, September 15, 2025 at MercyOne Clive Rehabilitation Hospital. A public visitation will be held at the Salem Church in Lincoln on Thursday, September 18th from 5-7 PM. A memorial service will be held Friday, September 19, 2025 at the Salem Church in Lincoln at 10:30 AM. A time of food, fellowship and memories will be held after the service at the Lincoln AmVet Hall. Woodley Funeral Home and Crematory of Iowa Falls is caring for Harry and his family.
Harrison Tyler Wentzien was born on December 13, 1988 to Herbert Trent and Debra Wentzien. Tyler grew up in Lincoln, starting kindergarten by that name, but then decided he wanted to go by Harry in 4th grade, so it was Harry who graduated from G-R High School in 2008. He enjoyed farming with his dad and also owned his own business, HT Seed.
Harry married Jordan Krueger in 2017 and they welcomed three beloved children into their lives: Stella Jo, Hudson Tripp and Lila Penelope.
Throughout his 36 years, Harry enjoyed life with his gift of being able to talk to anybody and had fun making memories with others. He loved his family and his friends dearly and was reminded this past summer how important they are not only in happy times, but in tough times as well.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Stella, Hudson and Lila; his parents, Trent and Deb and his sister Erin; his grandmother, Marlene and his extended Oelmann and Wentzien family members as well as many many friends of all ages.
He was preceded in death by an infant sister, Elizabeth Jane Wentzien and his grandparents, Leonard Oelmann and H. Ted and Joanne Wentzien.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials gifts be given to the Grundy County Memorial Hospital Foundation, Grundy Center.
