Elisabeth Wendlinger Barros, 94, of Greene, passed away Monday, March 31, 2025, at Mitchell County Regional Medical Center, Osage. Memorial services will be held 10:30 am, Wednesday, April 23, at St Mary Catholic Church, Greene. Woodley Funeral Home and Crematory, Greene is caring for the family.
Elisabeth was born January 28, 1931, in Bruckmuhl, Germany, the daughter of Ludwig and Rosina Wendlinger. She is preceded in death by her parents, her three sisters and youngest son, Thomas Barnes. Lisa, as she was known, is survived by her husband Daniel (Rocky) Barros, her son and daughter-in-law Hubert (Marsha) Barnes, 3 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Lisa immigrated to the United States of America and was always grateful and proud to become a U.S. citizen. In August 1971 Lisa married Rocky Barros, in 1976 they moved to Greene.
Lisa was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. She liked planting her flowers every year, she was a cheerful, positive and outgoing person that loved her life in Greene with Rocky and extended family.
She will rest in Rose Hill Cemetery, Greene and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
