ROCK VALLEY, IOWA – An Iowa drug dealer caught with coke, meth, and weed, was recently convicted and police say after his possibly 10 years in prison, ICE troopers will seal his fate.
Thomas Kunstle, Sioux County Attorney for Sioux County, Iowa announced that Albert Jorge Dominguez Hernandez, age 43, of Rock Valley, Iowa, was sentenced March 17, 2025, in Sioux County District Court for the crime of Possession with Intent To Deliver Methamphetamine, a Class C Felony. Assistant Sioux County Attorney Lori Ehlers prosecuted the case on behalf of the State of Iowa.
This case arose between September 1 and December 29, 2024, during which time Dominguez Hernandez sold methamphetamine to an informant under the supervision of the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office. After a search warrant was executed on Dominguez Hernandez’s home, officers discovered marijuana, cocaine, and digital scales with white residue.
On March 17, 2025 Dominguez Hernandez (pictured at top) was sentenced in District Court to a ten (10) year indeterminate prison sentence, ordered to pay a fine of $1,370.00 plus the 15% ($205.50) surcharge, and was ordered to submit to a sample of his DNA.
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement is expected to take custody of Dominguez Hernandez at the end of his prison sentence.
