Jackie John Frank, 66, passed away surrounded by loved ones, Monday, January 13, 2025 at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center, Mason City, Iowa.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, 2502 S Jefferson Ave, Mason City, IA. Burial will be in the spring at Rock Grove Cemetery in Nora Springs, Iowa.

Jackie Frank was born on March 27, 1958, to Joe and JoAnn (Davies) Frank of Mason City, Iowa. He graduated from Mason City High School and began working at Warco and later Connico, local gas stations during and after his school years.

In 1978, Jackie married Pamela Shores, and together they welcomed two daughters into the world. Jackie later began a long career at the Clear Lake Bakery, where he worked until sustaining an injury in 1997. Later on the couple decided to divorce. However, in June 2005, Jackie found love again and married Kimberly Christian.

Jackie was an avid outdoorsman who cherished his time camping and fishing. In his earlier years, he often hunted and gardened alongside his father. He created lasting memories during trips up north and visits to see his brother Gary in the south. A sports enthusiast, Jackie was passionate about the Minnesota Vikings, enjoyed baseball and wrestling with his nephew and brother Don, and never missed an opportunity to ride the roller coasters at Valleyfair.

Above all, Jackie was a family man. He treasured his roles as a husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. His grandchildren were his biggest pride. Despite the challenges he faced, Jackie never lost his sense of humor or his ability to make others feel cared for. His laughter and love left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

Those left to cherish memories of Jackie are his wife, Kimberly Frank; daughters, Tara Frank and JoAnn Frank; grandchildren, McKayla, Trevor, Colin, Kyra, and McKenzie; special nephew, Steve Frank; longtime friend who he considered his son, Michael Kane; as well as other family members.

Jackie is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Gary, Don, and Jim; along with aunts and uncles.
