OELWEIN, IOWA – Two men are facing drug charges after cops got a warrant and raided a Northern Iowa house.
On 1-12-25, at approximately 12:40 AM, the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at 200 2nd Street SE in Oelwein, Iowa. During a search, illegal substances and items were found and seized. As a result of the raid, 24-year-old Kolten Michael Maakestad of Oelwein was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd Offense-Marijuana (a serious misdemeanor) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (a simple misdemeanor). 32-year-old Caleb James Gildard of Oelwein was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance-Marijuana (a serious misdemeanor) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (a simple misdemeanor).
Both Gildard and Maakestad were taken into custody and transported to Fayette County Jail, where they awaited initial appearance.
