Bradley E. Church, age 59, of Joice, Iowa, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 28, 2024, in Clear Lake.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, January 5, 2024, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Cataldo Funeral Chapel, located at 160 E. 4th St., Garner. Burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
Born on February 28, 1965, in Britt, Bradley Eugene Church was the son of Roger and Joyce (Barker) Church. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Garner and graduated from Garner-Hayfield High School in 1984. Following high school, Brad proudly served in the Army National Guard. His career at IMT in Garner spanned from 1985 until his retirement in 2022.Brad found joy in various activities, including riding his cherished Harley motorcycle, ice fishing, and supporting his favorite sports teams: the Iowa Hawkeyes, Arizona Cardinals, and New York Mets.
Brad is survived by his daughter, Rachel Church (Matt Fausch) of Clive and their son, Jax, with another child expected in April; his son, Scott Church (McKenzie Fredrickson) of Leland; his parents, Roger and Joyce Church of Garner; three sisters, Shannon (Phil) Boeckman of Garner, Melissa (Sam) Marcsisak of Waukee, and Stacy (Joe) Schisel of Garner; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his grandparents and the mother of his children, Keely Boss.
