Paula was born on March 5, 1960, to Lawrence and Donna (Biersner) Bausman in Grundy Center, Iowa.

She is survived by her mother Donna Bausman of Wellsburg, her brother Larry (Deb) Bausman of Wellsburg, nieces and nephews Lance and Christina (Bausman) Hargis of Wichita Falls, Texas, Douglas and Elizabeth Bausman of Wellsburg, grandnieces and grandnephews Hannah Woerner of Greeley, Colorado, Zachary Woerner of Marshalltown, Madeline Bausman of Wellsburg and Alexander Bausman of Wellsburg, uncles Ed Biersner of Wellsburg and James (Berdine) Biersner of Dike and several cousins.

Paula was proceeded in death by her father, Lawrence Bausman, grandparents Alexander and Esther Biersner and Irl and Annette Bausman and many other family members.

Paula was born with Spinal Bifita and had several surgeries. In the 70’s and 80’s, Donna and Paula ran a ceramics shop in the basement of their home. Paula loved ceramics. They both enjoyed all the ladies who came for ceramics and Donna’s treats. She also enjoyed applying makeup, painting her nails and Chrissy’s nails, making sequined calendars as Christmas gifts, mints for special occasions, and printing greeting cards for Donna and herself. Last fall she was able to fulfill an item on her bucket list by driving to Las Vegas with her uncle, Ed Biersner and meeting her friend Dixie Nelsen of Utah. They visited many sites and went to the Barry Manilow and Donny Osmond concerts together. It was an experience of a lifetime for Paula.
