Patricia Joan Patro, 85, of Mason City, IA, passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at Oakwood Care Center in Clear Lake, IA.
A graveside service will take place at a later date.

Pat was born on September 19, 1938 in Mason City to Joseph and Laura (Pattschull) Smedley. Pat pursued her passion for beauty by attending cosmetology school. Her warm and caring nature led her to a fulfilling career as a dietary aid at the IOOF Home, where she touched the lives of many residents and colleagues with her kindness and dedication.
She enjoyed her beloved dogs Josey, Peaches and Ginger all holding a special place in her heart. Pat loved to travel, going to California and Hawaii with her family, but always had to stop in Vegas on the way.
Those left to cherish Pat’s memory are her children Phillip (Dayna) Breman and Sheila (Lance) Ebbers; grandchildren Jon (Sheena) Ebbers, Heather Breman and Jason (Lauren) Ebbers; great-grandchildren Jasper, Erica, Kase, Austin and Owen Ebbers.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents Joseph (Dorothy) Smedley and Laura (Ben) Rasmussen; sisters Mary Vance and Betty Huff and grandchildren Hannah and Jeremy.
