Northern Iowa man accused of supplying booze for underage drinking party

RUTHVEN – A Northern Iowa man has been arrested after an underage drinking party, accused of supplying the alcohol.

On Saturday, June 22, 2019 at 01:05 am, the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office investigated a report of an underage drinking party 3857 360th Street, Ruthven. Following the investigation, the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office cited eight persons for minor in possession of alcohol. Those cited include 19-year-old Taylor Park, 18-year-old Thomas Geelan, 19-year-old Brady Rosacker, 18-year-old Christopher Conlon, 18-year-old Anna Sorenson, 19-year-old Jacob Conlon, 18-year-old Vanessa Woelber, and 18-year-old Lucas Hoffman. The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office also issued juvenile referrals to two 17-year-olds for minor in possession of alcohol and released them to their parents.

The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office arrested 27-year-old Mark Geelan of Ruthven for permitting persons under the age of 18 to consume/possess alcohol on property= simple misdemeanor as well as supplying alcohol to persons under the legal age= serious misdemeanor.
