MASON CITY – Mason City police said Sunday they served some warrants in connection to local burglaries.
The Mason City Police Department served search warrants Sunday, March 4 at two residences in Mason City. They did not disclose the location of these residences. The warrants were in connection with an investigation into several burglaries and thefts in Mason City, Cerro Gordo and Worth Counties in the last few weeks.
Property was recovered that is believed to have been stolen in at least some of these crimes. The department did not make any arrests at this time, but the investigation is ongoing and charges are likely.
