NIACC’s Jacques places 16th in 5K at indoor national meet

LUBBOCK, Texas – NIACC freshman Brian Jacques placed 16th in the 5,000-meter run at the NJCAA national indoor track and field meet on the Texas Tech campus.

Jacques ran the 5K in 16 minutes, 01.42 seconds. Also for the Trojans, sophomore Blake Keller was 19th in 16:11.83.

The Trojans’ Logan Dalbeck, Prince Boduo, Daniel Hennigar and Abiaziz Wako were 18th in the distance medley relay in a time of 11:34.51.

In the 60-meter hurdle prelims, Brody Goos was 14th in 8.43 and did not make the finals.
