Iowa man gets 100 years in prison for multiple instances of sexual abuse of child

BOONE COUNTY - An Iowa man will not see freedom for many decades - if ever - after his conviction in court for child sexual abuse crimes.

BOONE COUNTY – An Iowa man will not see freedom for many decades – if ever – after his conviction in court for child sexual abuse crimes.

Dallas Dean Hoffman, 32, Madrid, was sentenced by the District Court following jury verdicts of guilty to four counts of Sexual Abuse in the Second Degree, all Class B Felonies. The trial and verdict revolved around defendant’s multiple instances of sexual abuse of a child.

The defendant was sentenced to the maximum 100 years in prison. The defendant must serve 70 years of the sentence before being eligible for parole. The defendant will also be subject to the Sex Offender Registration and a special lifetime parole if ever released.

The case was investigated by the Boone County Sheriff’s Office and Madrid Police Department.
