WEST DES MOINES – An Iowa man was allegedly messing with a handgun in a basement when the gun fired through the ceiling, striking his sleeping mom upstairs in a bed.
On Friday, January 13th, 2017 at 5:12 AM, West Des Moines Emergency Services were dispatched to 300 18th Street in regards to a person who suffered a gunshot wound. -Reckless Use of a Firearm Causing Serious Injury
-Possession of Schedule I Narcotics
-Possession of Schedule IV Narcotics (Two counts)
After posting bond on all charges Mauk was released from custody.
Mom needs to treat this like an attempted murder…even if the cops won’t. Protective order against him ever re-entering the home.
he thought it was a good alibi and wouldn’t b charged because it was a accident. bet he took aim at where he thought the bed was.
What a Dumb Ass. probably a Hilary voter.
