Arlene Alice Kasserman, 99 of Kissimmee, Florida passed away Friday, July 6, 2012 at her home. She was born May 10, 1913 in Mason City, Iowa the daughter of the late Louis and Bertha (Zemke) Walter. Arlene was a Sales Lady with Metropolitan Life Insurance Company for many years and later worked for Stanley Home products as an Area Manager for 35 years before retiring to the Central Florida area. She was a member of the Good Samaritan Community Church in Kissimmee, Florida. She taught Sunday school for 25 years, she was head of the Women’s Society and was a nurse’s aid. She was a Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star in Mason City, Iowa. Arlene was preceded in death by her husbands, Art O’Green in 1981, Robert Dunn in 1995 and Wes Kasserman in 2007; daughter, Sharon Newman in 2007. She is survived by her loving daughters, Becky O’Green of Kissimmee, Florida and Carolee Kissel and her husband, Ron of Shelby, Ohio; son-in-law, George Newman; 12 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren. A celebration of life service will be held later this week at Good Samaritan Community Church. Inurnment will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery in Mason City, Iowa at a later date.

My beautiful Grandma… So full of life and spunk… She golfed everyday up till this year and love to go out dancing. She was a great role model to me from loving unconditionally with out judgement to others. She taught me to follow my heart and most importantly live everyday to its fullest.
