CHARLES CITY – A Charles City man is facing charges of drunk driving on the wrong side of a road and criminal mischief.
Ryan Nathanial Blunt, age 27, was stopped just after midnight on New Years Day at the 1000 block of 20th Avenue. Allegedly, he was driving on the wrong side of the road and was intoxicated. He was jailed for first-offense operating while intoxicated and driving on the wrong side of the road. He awaits a January 20 hearing.
Blunt is also facing a charge of third-degree criminal mischief after an alleged incident that took place on October 22, 2016 in Charles City. He awaits a February 16 jury trial.
