MASON CITY – The NIACC baseball team moved up two spots to No. 12 in this week’s NJCAA Division II rankings.
Last week, NIACC (30-12 overall, 15-5 in the ICCAC) won three out of four games against Iowa Central and swept a doubleheader against Dakota County Technical College.
It is the third time in four seasons under coach Travis Hergert that the Trojans have won at least 30 games. The Trojans were 31-18 in 2013 and 49-16 in 2015.
NIACC returns to action Friday at home against Iowa Lakes in a doubleheader starting at 1 p.m.

Kirkwood Baseball is ranked 13th, leads the division and has 5 local baseball players on the team. Great idea for a story!!!
