CHARLES CITY – Police investigated a domestic incident this past week in Charles City and arrested one man.
On November 8 at 11:20 PM, Charles City police went to the 200 block of North Illinois Street on a report of criminal mischief. After an investigation by officers, they determined that a domestic assault had occurred. As a result, 30-year-old Dane Tillman of Charles City was arrested on a charge of second offense domestic abuse assault, an aggravated misdemeanor.
Tillman was jailed and then released the next day. He awaits a court hearing on November 30.
